Welcome to the Mississippi State Baseball Uniform Tracker

The Mississippi State Baseball team went to the National Championship series last year in Omaha, and their reward?  The first (of my knowledge) college baseball uniform tracker.  The Bulldogs have had some bad uniforms over the years, but coach John Cohen (who is entering his 6th season as head coach) has brought back some great looking uniforms (despite Adidas's attempts to force rainbows upon us).

One of the unique things about Mississippi State is that they have different logos for baseball and football:

Baseball Logo
Football Logo

The Baseball logo seems to be more popular with fans, and it's not going anywhere soon.  Even Adidas knew to put the MS logo on their rainbow monstrosities.  The first one of these was designed for the 2013 NCAA Tournament (Louisville got a similar one), but some of the players (notably Wes Rea) hated them, and were quick to point out that it lacked an SEC patch.  The team wore it many times in pregame, but changed into other uniforms (even when the SEC patch was added) before gametime.  They wore never worn in a game.  During fall practice this year, the two scrimmage teams were black and gray.  Both the black and gray jerseys had the Adidas rainbow on them (though not as big as the white ones)

The Bulldogs currently have four hats.  The classic Maroon hat, a white hat with a maroon bill, a black hat, and a green St. Patrick's day hat.

The Bulldogs wore 5 different jerseys last year.  The classic western script that John Cohen brought back is on a white jersey and a maroon jersey, and the MS logo is on a maroon jersey, a black jersey, and a white pinstriped jersey.

Thanks to the user tupelojoe81 on the CCSLC, I made a graphic of some of the MSU baseball uniforms in recent history-

The season starts on February 14th, and SEC season starts on March 14th.
